Loved the cozy vibe and really good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice! The staff was super friendly too. Just a heads-up, managing luggage up the stairs can be a bit tricky. But overall, a fantastic stay 😊

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location was excellent.
The room was quite basic, and even though it was mentioned when we booked the room it was inconvenient having the bathroom in the hall because it was not private (no key, anyone could use it).

Perfect location. Good size of the room. Comfortable bed. Our room was nice and cozy. Staff was nice but they were not very present.
I stayed there with my husband, however they gave us separate beds (with a table inbetween them) and they were not able to give us another room with twin bed. Breakfast is not included , it is nice but expensive. We stayed there for three nights and nobody cleaned our room or made our beds. They also do not provide soap or shampoo.

We had an a decent size room with great WiFi and coffee. We really enjoyed coffee and croissants for breakfast. Location: the hotel was not far from the Haarlem train station and the coast and nature reserves...

I like their service and hospitality. Though steep staires, it's never a problem for me, because the staff help carry my luggage all the way up and down the staires. I like the dinning room with big windows overlooking the old town streets. While having breakfast, the owner is nice to prepare coffee and juice for his guests and afterwards had a casual chat with them. That kind of hospitality you won't experience from big hotel chains.

A comfortable B&B for exploring the town of Haarlem. We arrived before check in time and were invited into the bright and cheerful breakfast room for tea and coffee. Our room was even ready early. We had a large double on the same floor as the breakfast room that was indeed extra large with lots of windows and a table and chairs. Everything was very clean in the room, plenty of hot water in the shower, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were cheerful and kind about answering questions, and the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. They even very kindly accommodated my request for some gluten free bread.
It is likely that with the window open the noise from the streets would be noticeable, but this was not a problem for us.

The location a block or so from the Grote square and St. Bavo's church was excellent. The breakfasts, staff and rooms were outstanding.
The stairs as in most old Dutch Hotels are not for the faint hearted or large pieces of luggage, But arrival at the top was well worth it.

A Home Away from Home
After 35 days of traveling, this cozy gem in Haarlem surprised me. Huge shower, cheerful decor, and a stocked kitchen. I enjoyed classical music while unwinding in the bright breakfast room. Pro tip, request assistance with luggage if needed!

city center location, friendly personal, free cofee, tea and snaks in any time.
room needs to repair, furniture was old, windows were wood and old too. Its look like hostel, not hotel. Doesn't has elevator, the stairs are steep. There is no free parking nearby.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful, there when you need them and notwhen you don't.
Haarlem is an amazingly beautiful and clean town. Much better than staying in Amsterdam. Well worth the five minute train ride.
